Bangalore is getting HOT { :-) + :-( = :-| ... }
Pun ? err.. Nope ! At least not entirely intended.
Bangalore is actually getting hot. When I discuss this topic with seasoned Bangalore-ans, I get this really bored and as-a-matter-of-fact look on their faces as the repartee. They attribute it to pollution, irrelevant real estate expansions of an unplanned dimension and of course "global warming". I honestly consider these problems above my level of comprehension.
Having stayed in Chennai for 21 years before coming to Bangalore, I should not have found this topic worth a blog. But, Bangalore was not "designed" to face these temperatures. Mercury kissed 35 on the celsius scale today ( just April ! ! ). And I was not designed to face Bangalore in this temperature. The lack of water vapor in the atmosphere makes the heat a little unbearable. It's now some 2330 hrs and I find my room so hot that my chair (plastic) is a little too hot to sit on for the first 4 seconds. !
What is with the pun in the topic then ? The opposite sex population ?
Kinda sorta.
Still, heat is best enjoyed when generated within.
Chennai, I miss you so much.
